The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the formal process of bringing adults into full membership in the Catholic Church.
Who is R.C.I.A. for? For adults who have not been baptized or were baptized in another Christian tradition and desire to explore becoming Catholic. In addition, there is a process for families and children.
RCIA is a Parish Initiative - All baptized members are called to evangelize; to invite others to come to know Jesus Christ. The parish community participates by modeling Christian living and praying for participants throughout the process.
